The Current Hotel

The Current Hotel, an Autograph Collection hotel by Marriott, includes more than 5,000 sf of combined meeting and event space, plus a free-standing parking structure.

The property features a rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Tampa skyline, as well as beach access, a pool, ballroom, retail space, fitness center and on-site paddle boarding.

The Halff team, which is experienced in hotel/resort civil projects, provided civil engineering design, site permitting and base landscape architecture, including the necessary documentation for the City of Tampa, to complete rezoning from a conceptual layout of the site. The development also called for creative solutions with other disciplines, such as architecture, because of its unique location and positioning.
